Abstract

Digitalization has become an essential part of our lives in recent years. It elevates citizens' way of life to a new level. The development of smart cities is crucial to advancing digitalization. In the upcoming years, there will undoubtedly be a rise in the number of smart cities, and big data will play a crucial part in the global development of smart city efforts. Information and communications technology (ICT) is used in smart cities to increase citizen-local government interaction and the effectiveness of municipal services. The Smart Cities trend is mostly propelled by Big Data in addition to more basic technological advancements. The essentials of big data in the creation of smart cities are examined in this study.
