Intelligent traffic-based real-time road condition monitoring system that protects privacy

Abstract
In order to mitigate traffic congestion, minimize road pressure, and prevent traffic accidents, a privacy-preserving intelligent monitoring (PPIM) method utilizing intelligent traffic in conjunction with the safe and k-nearest neighbor (KNN) algorithm was presented.In order to guarantee the security of traffic data, non-colluding multi-servers randomly split the data content into independent portions using the secure multi-party computing technique. The individual data components were then stored and encrypted independently.An enhanced version of the KNN traffic monitoring algorithm was put forth in an effort to increase road condition monitoring accuracy.The correlation value, which indicates the degree of traffic condition relationship between roads, was obtained by the data similarity computation.
